Angela Deakins

Ms. Deakins is a native Tennessean, but she has lived and worked in the Atlanta area for the past eight years. Angela moved to Atlanta in 1987 to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta for which she received a full scholarship. In 1989, she graduated with an Associates Degree in Art.

Ms. Deakins is currently a designer for The Cabbage Patch Baby Land Company. She is heavily involved in the design phases of their 1996 Olympic collection of dolls and accessories. Angela has worked with Group Solutions and many of its clients creating visioning artwork. Visioning art provides organizations, departments, teams or groups with a graphic image of their vision for moving from where they are now to their desired position. Additionally, she has held a design position with True Colors International, a craft book publishing company.

Angela is an accomplished illustrator and designer. Angela especially enjoys designing computer aided art work, drawing and painting children's art. Angela hopes someday to write and illustrate children's books.
