The Weyerhauser family created the Stewardship Foundation to fund Christian ministry. George oversees Stewardship Foundation grants to more than two hundred organizations annually. Before coming to the Stewardship Foundation, George had an extensive career in management consulting for commercial and not-for profit clients in business planning, acquisitions and joint venture projects. As Washington state Outreach Coordinator for The Chemical People, George helped to organize one of the largest outreach efforts in the history of Public Television to raise awareness of the incidence of drug and alcohol abuse among school-age children.
